    Everyone wants to be a part of a positive change and the 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron Airmen put into action an innovative idea that allowed cargo to be rolled from the aircraft onto pallets of a K-Loader. 5th LRS Airmen came up with the idea to modify a 463L Aircraft Pallet by attaching rollers in order to efficiently support multiple missions

  • Staff Delegation visits Team Minot

    Staff delegation members visited Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, March 19, 2019. The 10 members of the staff delegation toured both 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing facilities.   • Team Minot Airman receives Bronze Star Medal

    Master Sgt. Philip McAlpin, 5th Civil Engineer Squadron heavy repair superintendent, received a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement while deployed to Syria. McAlpin’s deployed responsibilities were to oversee repair and maintenance for the Kobani Landing Zone, a semi-prepared dirt runway.
