Colin Connor accepted command of the 91st Missile Wing from Col. Michael Lutton during 91st MW change of command ceremony at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, June 17, 2016. Connor comes to the 91st MW from the Pentagon where he served as a Chief of Staff of the Air Force Fellow with duty as Deputy Division Chief Operations Training and Support Division in Joint Staff Operations Directorate in Joint Staff. Connor said even though the leadership has changed, the mission will not change. "Our mission stays the same:Safe, secure, intercontinental ballistic missile mission, that's it, bottom line." Connor said. "My family and I are delighted to be here at Minot. Bully!" Presiding over the change of command ceremony was 20th Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Anthony Cotton, who spoke about how Connor's past positions have led him to becoming the leader of the Rough Riders. "Col. Connor's distinguished career includes a well-rounded pedigree in national level missions, plus unique staff experiences that make him superbly qualified to command this wing," said Cotton. "I am proud to welcome him to the 20th Air Force senior leadership team." Lutton, who promoted to Brig. Gen. just after the change of command ceremony, will be heading to the Pentagon to support of the Department of Energy. "Thank you all for what you do every day for our Rough Riders and our nation. Bully!" said Lutton.
