Staff Sergeant Rachael Brown is an Aviation Resource Manager for the 23rd Bomb Squadron. Originally from Greenwood, Wisconsin, Brown became a member of Team Minot in May 2018.

What does she like most about Minot?

“The community of Minot and the effort we all put in to make the most of what we have,” said Brown. “My favorite part of the unit is when I’m preparing mission packages and later on I get to see what the B-52 did in the news, such as the Superbowl flyover.”

Her duties include tracking over 100 aviators in the 23rd Bomb Squadron, recording daily flying hours, training task requirements, and medical forms using the database ARMs. Brown also in-processes and out-processes flyers and prepares mission packages by verifying aircrew are qualified to fly the B-52.

“We are able to deter our adversaries and keep our nation safe,” said Brown. “It’s an honor to be a part of the mission.”

Brown’s favorite part of the mission at Team Minot is the impact the Bombers have on a global level.

“What motivates me is doing a good job and knowing I’m making a difference in my Airmen’s lives,” said Brown.

Brown spends her free time hanging out with her family, spending time outdoors, and going for walks or playing tennis. She plans on deploying again and attaining her bachelor's degree in business management through the Community College of the Air Force.
