  • New wireless headsets improve base operations

    Until recently, 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) crew chiefs performing maintenance on the ground used headsets wired into the B-52H Stratofortress to communicate with the crew inside. The wires raised a number of concerns, to include mobility and the price of replacing the wires.

  • Team Minot welcomes newest deputy commanders

    Recently, Team Minot welcomed its newest deputy commanders. U.S. Air Force Col. Benjamin Jensen and U.S. Air Force Col. George L. Chapman assumed deputy commander duties for the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing respectively.

  • What's the 5th Maintenance Group's key to success? Training!

    Class is in session. The 372nd Training Squadron, Detachment 22, is an Air Education and Training Command detachment with its host command at Sheppard AFB, Texas. Det. 22 delivers aircraft maintenance training to Airmen assigned to the 5th Maintenance Group.
