Operation Heroes is an annual event that allows children to experience a pre-departure briefing and demonstrations from more than 10 different units around base. During the event, children tasted Meals Ready-to-Eat, got their faces painted, saw Explosive Ordnance Disposal demonstrations and weapons displays.
