2nd Lt. Christina Camp, ICBM Deputy Combat Crew Commander, 740th Missile Squadron, Hometown: Parksley, Virginia. My Oma (German for grandmother), Erika Roloff Prebble. She was an immigrant to the United States and had lived through World War II in Germany. She suffered from PTSD, something she referred to as flash backs. She had to start her life over again, in the United States, during a period of time where it was very unpopular to be German. She worked hard to become a citizen and was the proudest American that I have ever known. Her resiliency, world knowledge, and perseverance has always been an inspiration to me.
