The 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's electronic countermeasures shop maintains the B-52H Stratofortresses electronic warfare systems. These systems give the B-52 the capability to penetrate enemy defenses, destroy the designated target, and return to base safely. The ECM shop ensures this capability is maintained by performing in-depth routine scheduled inspections and by performing unscheduled maintenance repairs.
