MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airfield Management is the focal point for all airfield functions. Airfield Management personnel procure, maintain, and produce information on safe operation of aircraft through the national and international airspace system. This information includes flight plans, Flight Information Publications, aeronautical charts and maps, Notice to Airmen, navigational aid status and weather information. Airfield Management provides aircrews with information and services to accomplish pre-flight, en-route and terminal mission planning. They also coordinate with a host of base agencies to secure billeting, messing, refueling, transportation and aircraft maintenance for aircrews, as well as, conducting airfield inspections, coordinating airfield construction activities and wild life management. Finally, Airfield Management oversees the 5th Bomb Wing Airfield Driving Program, which annually trains more than 1,300 drivers to safely operate with airfield environment.
