    Missile Alert Facilities are the heart of the 91st Missile Operations Group’s mission. The Group is composed of three squadrons, each responsible for up to 50 launch facilities. This 24/7 responsibility requires Airmen to be on alert and always ready. It is the goal of the Missile Alert Feeding

    Team Minot’s Missile Alert Feeding Operation (MAFO) team has been selected as one of two finalists for the 2023 John L. Hennessy Award, a commendation that highlights outstanding achievement in the food service career field.

    As I walk toward the dormitory, I can smell the delicious food from miles away, I can hearthe loud music and I can feel the positive vibes from the people attending the event. I amgreeted with smiles, hidden behind the masks, and joy from the hosts of the event.

  • 5th FSS: feeding the fight

    Controlled and methodical chaos fills the dining facility as Airmen rush to the lines of food. This is a familiar setting for the staff, keeping with the tempo by serving fresh food to about 500 Airmen each day.
