Ermelinda Torres, 69th Bomb Squadron command support staff, receives the 5th Bomb Wing "Own It" Award at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Aug. 5, 2016. Torres overhauled squadron in-processing procedures, allowing new members to expeditiously start Mission Qualification Training. She processed more than 70 performance reports, awards, decorations, and promotion recommendation forms and streamlined OPR and EPR processes, personally ensuring that squadron records are current and that members are promotion board-ready, while decreasing the submission timeline by over 50 percent. Finally, Mrs. Torres selflessly donated her time to support the Airman's Attic, enhancing quality of life for Minot AFB Airmen and exemplifying the definition of "Own It" both on- and off-duty.
