Staff Sgt. Eliaser Martinez, 5th Medical Support Squadron NCO in charge of storage and distribution, epitomized the 5th Bomb Wing commander’s vision of mission ownership. After tragedy struck a pharmacy team member, Martinez stepped in to fill the critical role. He consistently surpassed all expectations as a logistics technician by not only delivering daily medication orders, but stocking, ordering, and printing barcodes. Additionally, he ensured prompt repairs to the ordering system’s computer and scanner, enabling proper synchronization and accurate accountability. His efforts have enabled the pharmacy to focus on patient care without interruption or delay. Martinez’s unwavering dedication and team spirit demonstrates that he “Owns It!” every day.
