Bird bath Published July 29, 2016 By Senior Airman Apryl Hall Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airmen from the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron wash a B-52H Stratofortress at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., July 25, 2016. During the wash, grease and contaminants that cause corrosion are removed from the aircraft. Specialized cleaning solutions are used to remove grease and contaminants the aircraft has accumulated during flight and maintenance.
