Staff Sgt. Tara Crook, 5th Medical Operations Squadron force health management noncommissioned officer in charge, ensures safe and orderly distribution of the flu mist to Airmen as part of the 5th Medical Group’s Point of Distribution exercise at Dock 9, Sept. 19-20. The POD exercise evaluated the 5th MDG's ability to distribute emergency medical supplies to the active duty population. The 5th MDG in conjunction with the 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 5th Security Force Squadron was able to precisely load, transport, vaccinate and return more than 2,000 Airmen during the POD exercise in an average time of 17 minutes per person. The 5th Medical Group demonstrated their ability to issue emergency medical supplies and medication to the active duty population in a timely and precise manner, during a Point Of Distribution exercise, Sept. 19-20.
