Safe and secure Published Nov. 6, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Andrew Crawford Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airmen 1st Class Tanner Mansuetti and Frances Hopfer, 5th Security Forces Squadron installation entry controllers, work long hours to keep the base's assets safe and secure, often times under cold and severe weather conditions. Security forces gate guards at installations are many times the first impression or glimpse of the base's mission to the public and the professionalism they show daily is always evident. The impact of their job in checking identification and searching vehicles lets the base populous sleep at night knowing that the gates are secure.
