Chief Hornback visits Minot Published Nov. 20, 2013 By Senior Airman Stephanie Sauberan Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Chief Master Sgt. Brian Hornback, command chief for Air Force Global Strike Command, visited Airmen at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Nov. 18-19. On the first day of his tour Hornback visited Airmen working in the 91st Missile Wing. During his visit he performed hands-on missile maintenance training, viewed a recapture exercise, participated in a "key turn," took part in cuisine prepared by missile chefs, tried his hand at skid-pad driving safety training and met with leadership from the 91st MW. Day two of his tour wrapped up with a visit to the 5th Bomb Wing where Hornback toured the new air traffic control tower, spoke with Airmen Leadership School students about the importance of taking new opportunities to excel, toured the weapons storage area and met with 5th Security Forces Squadron Airmen, as well as with honor guard Airmen. In addition, he spoke to new Airmen at the First Term Airmen's Center.
