Weapons Standardization Section
The 5th Munitions Squadron weapons standardization section plans and conducts weapons load training to accomplish operational plans and objectives. They are responsible for initial and recurring load training for 14 highly motivated load crews. The weapons standardization section performs over 4,000 evaluations per year validating the competency and proficiency of the 5th Bomb Wing’s certified nuclear and conventional force. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring 146 personnel receive weapons task qualification, academic, practical, and recurring training as required.
