MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot community rang in the holiday season during the annual tree lighting this year, Nov. 30, 2013. Businesses throughout downtown Minot decorated with lights and wreaths for the occasion, while others set out fire pits for s'more making. Guest speakers included Minot Air Force Base installation commander and 5th Bomb Wing commander, Col. Alex Mezynski, city of Minot's Mayor Curt Zimbelman, and Pastors from St. Leo's Catholic Church.
