MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 5th Security Forces Squadron defenders clean an M-249 weapon at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Jan. 30, 2014. Security forces flights are required to clean weapons once a month. Due to proper cleaning being essential to the proper function of the weapon, the job gets done more often than required.
