A Trimble Total Station is adjusted at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., March 19, 2014. The station is used to ensure that a Precision Approach Path Indicator is properly aligned so that it can act as temporary runway lighting during construction on the flight line later this year. This summer, Minot AFB in coordination with Sundt Construction and the United States Army Corps of Engineers will be performing a $32.8 million runway repair project to replace close to 9,000 feet of the center keel section.
