The 5th Medical Group Diagnostic Imaging Element has two active duty personnel and one contract civilian assigned and we perform between 200-400 diagnostic studies including traditional x-ray, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound. Our patients range from active duty, dependents and pediatrics to retirees and veterans running the gamut from sports injuries to slips, trips and falls. The Diagnostic Imaging Element accepts orders from outside healthcare providers such as Trinity Medical Center, St. Alexius and the Bone and Joint Center in Bismarck. Once the exam is performed, we send the images to the health care providers aiding in expediting treatment. Our role in PRP is to identify and Potentially Disqualifying Information and report it to the PRP clinic for review. The 5th Medical Group Diagnostic Imaging Element is dedicated to providing the best quality diagnostic imaging in support of Team Minot’s Warbirds and Rough Riders.
