MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Minot Air Force Base, N.D., observed National Police week from May 27 through 31. One of the events hosted by the base was a ruck march which was attended by members of 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing security forces, the office of special investigations, the MAFB K-9 unit and members of the National Guard and reserve. The march started off as a formation 3 kilometer march and then broke off into self-paced 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer and 15 kilometer marches for all who wanted to continue. The event was open to everyone who brought their own rucksack or backpack for the march with a military standard weight of 35 pounds.
