K-9s showcase their skills Published June 10, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Apryl Hall Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airmen from the 5th Comptroller Squadron receive a demonstration from the Military Working Dogs and their handlers at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., June 3, 2014. The demonstration featured a tour of the kennels, MWDs different forms of attack and the training involved in running through the obstacle course. Handlers and MWDs give demonstrations to different units throughout the year to showcase their capabilities and highlight how well-trained the dogs are.
