Combined Federal Campaign Published Sept. 9, 2014 Minot AFB Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D -- The 2014 Minot Air Force Base Combined Federal Campaign begins Monday and runs until Oct 27, 2014. Team Minot's campaign goal is $138,000. Last year's goal was exceeded by $5k and we are hoping to beat that this year. Established in 1961, the CFC is the world's largest and most successful workplace charity campaign with more than 200 CFC campaigns throughout the world. CFC campaigns raise millions of dollars each year through pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors who support eligible non-profit organizations providing health and human service benefits throughout the world. This year Team Minot has the ability to have an even greater impact on the local community. Since its inception, the federal community has donated more than $6 billion to the CFC. Contributions are made through squadron or group representatives in cash, check or by payroll deduction. Donors may designate which charity, or charities, receive their money by filling out a pledge form. Minot AFB campaign theme is "Give for Good." In these difficult economic times, we can give aid and hope to those who need it most. Each member of the Minot AFB family can make a difference.
