PRESS RELEASE: Minot AFB receives Air Force Association National Aerospace awards

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Minot AFB was recently awarded three 2015 Air Force Association National Aerospace Awards.

The categories won by Minot AFB include:

General Curtis E. Lemay Award (Best Overall Bomber Crew): 69th Bomb Squadron.

General Thomas S. Power Award (Best Overall Missile Crew): 741st Missile Squadron.

Outstanding Civilian Wage Employee of the Year: Mr. Robert M Crane, 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron.

These awards recognize the outstanding achievements by Airmen contributing to the Air Force's nuclear deterrence operations.

According to the AFA, each year the association honors the outstanding achievements of men and women throughout the United States Air Force, government, academia and aerospace industry.
