Minot Air Force Base officials have announced the Northern Neighbors Day Airshow is returning to the Magic City in August 2016.
"After a seven-year absence, we are excited to bring Northern Neighbors Day back to Minot Air Force Base, said Pat Travnicek, Deputy Airshow Director.  "We're excited to showcase the capabilities of the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing and United States Air Force."

Minot Air Force Base is home to two wings and the U.S. Air Force's only base housing two components of the nuclear triad.  The 5th Bomb Wing's B-52H Stratofortress bombers serve as part of the Air Force's strategic and conventional combat force and the 91st Missile Wing is one of three intercontinental ballistic missile wings in the Department of Defense.
