BISMARCK, North Dakota --

Doug Burgum, governor of North Dakota, proclaimed April the Month of the Military Child at the North Dakota State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota, April, 5, 2023.

Youth and parents as well as active duty and national guard leadership from all over North Dakota attended the signing of the proclamation honoring the Month of the Military Child.

Awards were presented to military youth who made a difference in their community and children were given the opportunity to sit in on a North Dakota legislative session that focused on passing military family-related bills.
