Congratulations to the 24 Team Minot senior airmen who graduated from Airman Leadership School here Feb. 8.

ALS is six week-long course designed to develop Airmen's leadership and supervisory capabilities.

After ALS, Airmen are better prepared for the increased responsibility as they become non-commissioned officers.

Upon graduation, awards are given to the Airmen who are considered at the top of their graduating class, including the John L. Levitow award, which is presented to the top professional military education graduate. Sergeant Levitow is the only Air Force enlisted man to be awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War.

The top graduate was Senior Airman Allen Rogers, 5th Munitions Squadron, who won the John L. Levitow award. Senior Airman Jesus Gonzales, 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron, earned the leadership award. Senior Airmen Edwin Bone, 5th Munitions Squadron, and Dominic Moless, 5th Communications Squadron, earned Distinguished Graduate award. Airman Bone also earned the Academic award.
