The General David C. Jones Chapter of the Air Force Association honored 35 base awardees April 15 at an awards banquet at the Grand International Inn in Minot.

Leadership from across the base was given the opportunity to identify a team or individual from their squadron, group or wing to receive this annual award.

"This awards program is a way to honor people," said George Masters, emcee for the event and a previous chapter president. "It was a huge success and I look forward to doing it again next year."

North Dakota Governor John Hoeven was the guest speaker at the banquet which was attended by almost 300 people.
