MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  In July 2008, the following Minot Air Force Base Airmen were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: 

1. A Technical Sergeant from 5th Force Support Squadron received a reduction in rank to Staff Sergeant (suspended) for violating Article 134, bribery.

2. A Master Sergeant from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Technical Sergeant and a reprimand for violating Article 111, physically controlling a vehicle while intoxicated.

3. An Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 111, physically controlling a vehicle while intoxicated.

4. An Airman 1st Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman (suspended), forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for two months, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 113, sleeping on post.

5. An Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic (suspended), forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for two months, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 92, consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.

6. An Airman 1st Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman (suspended), forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for two months, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 92, consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.

7. An Airman 1st Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 92, possessing an iPOD while in a restricted area.

8. A Senior Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman First Class and a reprimand for violating Article 92, watching television while posted as a security response team.

9. An Airman 1st Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand for violating Article 113, sleeping on post.

10. An Airman 1st Class from 5th Munitions Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman and 7 days extra duty for violating Article 86, failure to go.

11. An Airman 1st Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic (with reduction below Airman suspended) and restriction for 30 days for violating Article 92, consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.

12. A Senior Airman from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman 1st Class for violating Article 112a, wrongful use of marijuana.

13. An Airman 1st Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic (with reduction below Airman suspended) and restriction for 30 days for violating Article 92, consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.

14. An Airman 1st Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron receive a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 92, watching television and falling asleep while on duty.

15. An Airman 1st Class from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 92, watching television and falling asleep while on duty.

16. An Airman from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic, forfeiture of $336.00 pay per month for 2 months (suspended), and restriction for 30 days for violating Article 92, consuming alcohol while under the age of 21, and Article 92, failure to wear a seat belt while riding in a passenger car.
