A large group of fight fans came together to watch the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The mixed martial art sport is normally a pay-per-view event. However, thanks to ACC sponsorship, the event was free for club members.

"My hat is off to ACC for sponsoring this great event," said Col. Joel Westa, 5th Bomb Wing commander. "J.R. Rockers was rocking the other night and I enjoyed it."

Airman 1st Class Brian Slattery, 5th Munitions Squadron weapons maintenance team member, mirrored the sentiment.

"Rockers was a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy the fight," he said.

Overall, those in attendance enjoyed food, camaraderie, and an exciting atmosphere. The event was made possible thanks to the 5th Force Support Squadron's coordination with ACC to sponsor it.

"This was a HUGE success," said Colonel Westa, "and we look forward to more events like this!"
