December 2008 Articles 15 Published Jan. 14, 2009 Minot Air Force Base Staff Judge Advocate MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- In December 2008, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: 1. An Airman from 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic for violating Article 92, underage drinking, two violations of Article 107, for false official statements and Article 134, drunk and disorderly. 2. An Airman from 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron received 30 days restriction and 15 days extra duty for violating Article 128, assault consummated by a battery and Article 134, disorderly conduct. 3. A Staff Sergeant from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Senior Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 111, driving under the influence of alcohol. 4. An Airman First Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman and a reprimand for two violations of Article 86, failure to go to appointed place of duty. 5. An Airman First Class from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, for two violations of Article 134, making derogatory racial comments about the president-elect.
