Minot Air Force Base to host Chairman of Joint Chiefs

Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is scheduled to visit Minot Air Force Base Feb. 18. 

The visit is a 'listen and learn' tour for the Admiral, and will feature all-hands call to take questions from base members and a lunch with junior enlisted Airmen. The Admiral will also tour several base facilities to learn more about the mission and operations of Minot Air Force Base. 

Also expected to be in attendance are North Dakota Governor John Hoeven and Congressman Earl Pomeroy. 

The all-hands call will be open to the media. In addition, Admiral Mullen is scheduled for a press availability, and portions of the base tour are expected to be open for photography and video. 

Media interested in attending the event should contact Public Affairs by 4:00 p.m. Feb. 16 and should plan be at the Minot Air Force golf course parking lot at 9:00 a.m. Feb. 18.
