MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Today, Feb. 13, 2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the B-52H Stratofortress being part of the 5th Bomb Wing. The 5th Bombardment Wing received the first B-52G, ser no 57-6468 on 13 Feb 59, while stationed at Travis AFB, CA.
