Taking care of military families Published March 25, 2009 By Capt. Daniel Bucur Minot Air Force Base Chapel Staff MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Beginning April 15, the base Chapel will start "Family Night", an exciting new program designed to provide spiritual nurture and guidance for every member of your family. As its theme suggests, Feed Your Faith, family night at the chapel is a time for family of any size, married with or without children, single parent, or singles to break bread together and enjoy a night of fellowship and spiritual growth. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Northern Plains Chapel with dinner and fellowship time. After dinner there will be four breakout sessions: 1. "Love and Respect," a nationally acclaimed marriage training seminar designed to unveil the secret of meaningful relationships. 2. "Through the Bible in one year," a relevant way to apply biblical teachings in our daily lives. 3. Youth meeting, Transformers (15 to 19-year-old) and Transforming Tweens (9 to 14-year-old) meetings. 4. Children's church. We extend a special invitation to the spouses of our deployed personnel. We offer our gratitude to you for the sacrifices you make while your spouse is deployed and hope "Family Night" will become a place for you to reconnect each week with your faith and friends.
