MINOT, N.D. -- Staff Sgt. Susan Lawson, 5th Civil Engineer Squadron project manager, receives an $1800 diamond at the awards ceremony for the Young Women's Christian Association of Minot April 21. Sergeant Lawson was a nominee in the enlisted category, but said winning the diamond was "better than an award." Presenting the diamond was the spouse of a local jeweler.
