MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  In May 2009, the following Minot Air Force Base Airmen were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: 

2. A Senior Airman from 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a forfeiture of $1,012.00 pay and 14 days extra duty for violating Article 92, failure to obey a lawful general regulation for wrongfully using Government Travel Card.

3. A Staff Sergeant from 5th Communications Squadron received a reduction in rank to Senior Airman, forfeiture of $1,109.00 pay per month for 2 months suspended, 11 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 92, failure to obey a no-contact order.

4. An Airman First Class from 5th Force Support Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand for violating Article 92, failure to refrain from sleeping on duty.

5. An Airman First Class from 5th Force Support Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, 30 days restriction and a reprimand for violating Article 128, assault, by striking an airman on the head.

6. A Senior Airman from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman with reduction below Airman First Class suspended and a reprimand for violating Article 107, false official statement, and Article 134, disorderly conduct.

7. A Staff Sergeant from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Senior Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 92, failure to obey a no-contact order.

8. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, 30 days restriction, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 92, underage drinking, and Article 111, drunk driving.

9. An Airman from 5th Munitions Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic and a reprimand for twice violating Article 86, failure to go.

10. A Technical Sergeant from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a forfeiture of $300.00 pay per month for 2 months and 14 days extra duty for violating Article 134, drunk and disorderly.

11. An Airman First Class from 5th Maintenance Squadron received 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 128, assault, by striking an airman in the face, and Article 134, drunk and disorderly.

12. An Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic suspended, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 117, wrongful use of provoking gestures toward another airman, and Article 128, assault, by grabbing an airman around the body.

13. An Airman First Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 128, assault, by choking an airman.

14. An Airman from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic, 60 days restriction with restriction in excess of 30 days suspended and a reprimand for violating Article 92, failure to refrain from possessing a cell phone in a restricted area.

15. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic suspended and a reprimand for violating Article 92, failure to turn-in Fitness Improvement Log to fitness program manager.

16. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman suspended, 30 days restriction and a reprimand for violating Article 134, false statement to a police officer.

17. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman suspended and a reprimand for violating Article 86, failure to go.

18. An Airman First Class from 742nd Missile Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman suspended, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand for twice violating Article 92, one for failure to refrain from using a cell phone in a restricted area and another for failure to refrain from operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

19. An Airman First Class from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 86, failure to go; Article 91, insubordinate conduct toward a NCO; and Article 92, failure to refrain from parking a privately owned vehicle on base while on a suspended base driving privileges.
