MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  In July 2009, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice:

RANK/UNIT, PUNISHMENT, OFFENSE

1. A Senior Airman from 5th Civil Engineering Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman First Class, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand for violating Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle.

2. A Technical Sergeant from 5th Force Support Squadron received a reduction in rank to Staff Sergeant and a reprimand for violating Article 120, other sexual misconduct, and three violations of Article 92, dereliction of duty: one failure to maintain a work environment free from sexual harassment and two failures to refrain from engaging in an unprofessional relationship.

3. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron at a deployed location received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman and forfeitures of $325.00 pay for violating Article 92, dereliction of duty, negligently leaving a weapon unattended while serving as a third-country national escort.

4. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic with reduction below Airman suspended, 14 days restriction, and 14 days extra duty for violating Article 92, underage drinking.

5. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic for three violations of Article 121, larceny: stealing a bank debit card, stealing fuel, and stealing a cell phone; and violating Art 134, intent to defraud, by using a stolen debit bank card under false pretenses.

6. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic with reduction below Airman suspended, 14 days restriction, and 14 days extra duty for violating Article 92, underage drinking.

7. A Master Sergeant from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Technical Sergeant and a reprimand for two violations of Article 92, dereliction of duty: twice failing to exhibit the qualities required of a senior noncommissioned officer; and two violations of Article 134, indecent language: twice communicating offensive comments of a sexual nature to junior enlisted persons in the squadron.

8. An Airman from 5th Operations Support Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic and forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 2 months for violating Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle.

9. A Senior Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron at a deployed location received 21 days extra duty for violating Article 134, intent to defraud, unauthorized use of another Airman's debit card.

10. A Senior Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand for violating Article 92, dereliction of duty, failure to refrain from drinking alcohol eight hours before scheduled duties, and violating Article 107, false official statement, lying about the amount of alcohol consumed.

11. A Staff Sergeant from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Senior Airman, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand for three violations of Article 107, false official statement, similar three false statements to three different Airmen, and violating Article 134, solicitation, wrongfully advised an Airman to make a false official statement.

12. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for 2 months suspended, and a reprimand for four violations of Article 92, failure to obey, failure to apprehend a suspect as ordered, and dereliction of duty: failure to refrain from possessing a cell phone in a restricted area, failure to properly store assigned weapon, and failure to maintain possession of assigned weapon before departing.

13. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for 2 months suspended, 30 days restriction, and a reprimand for two violations of Article 86, failure to go; one violation of Article 92, underage drinking; violating Article 111, drunk driving; and, violating Article 134, false statement to a local police officer.

14. A Senior Airman from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for 2 months suspended, 14 days extra duty, and a reprimand for violating Article 91, insubordinate conduct toward a noncommissioned officer, and violating Article 95, resisting arrest.

15. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for 2 months suspended, 15 days restriction, and a reprimand for violating Article 86, failure to go, and violating Article 91, insubordinate conduct toward a noncommissioned officer.

16. An Airman First Class from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 92, underage drinking.

17. A Senior Airman from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 107, false official statement, providing a false statement to investigators; violating Article 132, making a false or fraudulent claim to the United States, false reclamation of a tax refund; and, violating Article 134, obstructing justice, wrongfully modifying evidence provided to investigators.

18. An Airman from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic and 30 days restriction for violating Article 92, underage drinking.

19. An Airman Basic from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received 30 days extra duty for violating Article 92, underage drinking, and violating Article 134, false statement to a local police officer.

20. A Senior Airman from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for violating Article 92, dereliction of duty, failure to maintain a visual assessment of the launch facility site, failure to challenge an unidentified person approaching the post, and failure to refrain from watching television while posted.

21. A Senior Airman from 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman for two violations of Article 92, dereliction of duty: failure to use a spotter while backing up a government owned vehicle and failure to ensure team members wore appropriate alert gear; and violating Article 107, false official statement, making a false statement regarding operation of a government owned vehicle.
