MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Minot Airmen monitor weather conditions for base personnel using a next-generation radar here Dec. 14. NEXRAD is a network of 159 high resolution Doppler weather radars that detect precipitation and atmospheric movement. Weather is an important aspect to the mission of all Minot Airmen. Their dedication and hard work contribute to the success the base has experienced in recent inspections.
