MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 5th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering flight handles various equipment and software to provide the base with facility construction and maintenance programs that help the overall ongoing mission. Members of 5th CES, like engineering assistant apprentices, use various means to help with their work such as Computer Aided Design drawings and surveying technology which includes GPS. The 5th CES performs the work that literally keeps the base together.
