MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron embodies a large variety of tasks that help Minot AFB successfully run its mission. One of the many important functions of the 5th LRS is vehicle operations. It is vehicle ops that get Airmen to all-calls and various other destinations. It is also this office's responsibility to provide transportation to senior leadership such as Maj. Gen. Floyd Carpenter, 8th Air Force commander.
