March Articles 15 Published April 12, 2010 Minot Air Force Base Staff Judge Advocate MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- In March 2010, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: 1. An Airman First Class from 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 107, false official statement. 2. An Airman First Class from 5th Civil Engineering Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman and 30 days extra duty for violating Article 91, Insubordinate conduct to NCO (using disrespectful language), and Article 92, dereliction of duty (sleeping while on duty). 3. A Senior Airman from 5th Civil Engineering Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class and 30 days extra duty for two violations of Article 86, failure to go. 4. A Senior Airman from 5th Civil Engineering Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 112a, wrongful use of marijuana. 5. An Airman First Class from 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $811.00 pay per month for 2 months, and 30 days extra duty for violating Article 134, false statement (Minot Police Department). 6. A Senior Airman from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $366.00 pay and a reprimand for violating Article 121, larceny (property of AAFES). 7. An Airman First Class from 5th Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman Basic and a reprimand for violating Article 86, failure to go, and Article 92, dereliction of duty (use of a personal electronic device in industrial work area). 8. A Senior Airman from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $150.00 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand for two violations of Article 113, misbehavior of a sentinel (sleeping on post). 9. An Airman First Class from 5th Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 86, failure to go. 10. A Staff Sergeant from 17th Munitions Squadron received a reduction in rank to Senior Airman for two violations of Article 92, dereliction of duty (possessing non-government issue phone in industrial work area) and failure to obey a lawful order. 11. An Airman First Class from 17th Munitions Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman, forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 2 months and 14 days extra duty for violating Article 92, dereliction of duty (underage drinking), and Article 108, willful destruction of government property. 12. A Senior Airman from 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to Airman First Class, suspended 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 111, DUI. 13. A Senior Airman from 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for 2 months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for violating Article 111, DUI. 14. A Senior Airman from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman First Class and a reprimand for violating Article 92, dereliction of duty (contributing alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of twenty-one). 15. An Airman First Class from 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to Airman and a reprimand for violating Article 128, assault.
