Summer is approaching fast and there's no better time than now to get re-acquainted with our friends at the Roosevelt Park Zoo. Discover more than 200 mammals, birds and reptiles during an adventure into the zoo. Newly featured animals this year include two baby lambs in the children's zoo, two gray wolves, a Bengal tiger and a reindeer in the summer...yes!

The Roosevelt Park Zoo is located at 1219 Burdick Expressway East and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Aug. 31. As a reminder, season passes allow entry into not only the Roosevelt Park location, but also all zoos in North Dakota. Additionally, there are 163 locations where one can enter free or at a reduced cost across the U.S. and Canada.

The zoo is a member of the Minot Park District. No matter what the activity, Minot Park District has a great lineup of places and activities to help reconnect with friends and family, especially the Minot family!

Every year the zoo hosts a military appreciation day. This year it is scheduled for June 16.
