The Minot Rugby team, comprised of both Airmen and Minot locals, participated in the North Dakota Prairie Rose State Games July 10 in games against the Bismarck, N.D., rugby team. The group of hardcore rugby players reinforced what it truly means to be members of the Team Minot community.

The Prairie State Games is a combination of games played by amateur athletes. Due to the large size of the Minot rugby team, the team split into two teams for the event; military and civilian. Both the civilian and military team played against the Bismarck team.

Although both teams played their hearts out, the Bismarck team took the gold with a final score of 26-19.
