More than 200 Airmen attended a memorial service held in honor of Senior Airman Steven M. Clark, a power production member of the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron, at the Northern Lights Chapel here June 13.

Airman Clark contributed much to his squadron, efforts that did not go unnoticed by co-workers and peers. Base leadership expressed condolences to the family members and friends that were affected by the tragedy.

"Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with Airman Clark's friends and family during this difficult and tragic time," said Col. Michael Dilda, 5th Mission Support Group commander. "The men and women of Team Minot mourn the loss of one of our best and brightest. Airman Clark served his country honorably and his hard work and dedication were vital to the safety and security of this nation."

Airman Clark entered active duty in October 2008 and had been on station since June 2009. He studied electrical power production at the Community College of the Air Force.
