The following courts-martial recently convened at Minot Air Force Base:

U.S. vs. Airman 1st Class Carrillo

On July 1, a special court-martial was convened to hear the case of United States versus AirmanĀ 1st Class David J. Carrillo, 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron. Carrillo was charged with violating Article 80, attempted larcency; Article 121, larceny; and Article 134, unlawful entry, obtaining services by false pretenses, and taking the personal information of another. Between Aug. 27, 2010 and Nov. 8, 2010 it was alleged that Carrillo unlawfully entered the rooms of other individuals at a missile alert facility, took personal information and credit card information, made purchases with other individual's credit cards, stole property from Wal-Mart, stole property from unknown individual's vehicles, and stole property from the United States Air Force. Carrillo was found guilty of all the offenses and was sentenced to six months confinement, reduction to E-1, and a bad conduct discharge.

U.S. vs. Airman Lori

On July 7, a special court-martial was convened to hear the case of United States versus Airman Michael R. Lori, 5th Maintenance Squadron. Lori was charged with violating Article 112a, wrongful use of marijuana and ecstasy. Between Feb. 1 and March 31, it was alleged that Lori wrongfully used marijuana in Canada and wrongfully used ecstasy on Minot Air Force Base. Lori was found guilty of all offenses and was sentenced to five months confinement, reduction to E-1, and forfeiture of $900.00 pay per month for five months.

U.S. vs. Airman Williams

On July 8, a special court-martial was convened to hear the case of United States versus Airman Lucas J. Williams, 5th Maintenance Squadron. Williams was charged with violating Article 112a, wrongful use of marijuana and ecstasy. Between Feb. 1, and March 31, it was alleged that Williams wrongfully used marijuana in Canada and wrongfully used ecstasy on Minot Air Force Base. Williams was found guilty of all offenses and was sentenced to four months confinement, reduction to E-1, and forfeiture of $600.00 pay per month for four months.
