Adjusted gate hours: Aug. 1 to Sept. 10 Published July 27, 2011 5th Security Forces Squadron MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- -- During the re-pavement of Missile Avenue near the Main Gate from Aug. 1 to Sept. 10, the Minot Air Force Base gate hours will adjust as follows: North Gate: Mon - Fri, 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - All oversized vehicles, vendors and contractors will use this gate to be searched prior to base entry. Personally owned vehicles and government vehicles can also use this gate. When North Gate is closed, South Gate will be used for these vehicles. South Gate: 24/7 operations - All vehicles (other than oversized, vendors and contractors) should use South Gate for base entry and exit. Main Gate (Magic City): Mon. - Fri., 6 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - To minimize base housing traffic, only the following will use this gate: 1) Medical staff and patients reporting to clinic for work or appointments, 2) Military family housing occupants and their guests, 3) off-base school busses, and 4) Army Corps of Engineers. Guest passes will still be issued at the Visitor Control Center, adjacent to the Main Gate. Military family housing guest vehicles will be searched at the Main Gate and at the South Gate during after hours. All other personally owned vehicle traffic will be searched at South Gate. Please be patient and courteous to all as we work diligently to get through this project as fast and safely as possible.
