Cinderella Boutique to unveil Published Feb. 2, 2012 By contributor Barbara Faulkner Cinderella Boutique Committee MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Everyone is invited to the grand opening of the new Cinderella Boutique unveiling Feb. 8, at the Airman's Attic building starting at 11 a.m. The shop is slated to open in time to meet the needs of many who wish to attend the upcoming 91st Missile Wing and 5th Bomb Wing Annual Awards Banquets, scheduled for Feb. 17 and 18 respectively. The Cinderella Boutique aims to provide an affordable alternative to purchasing women's special-occasion apparel for any military or non-military event. This service offers the temporary loan of formal and semi-formal wear, party and prom attire, dress shoes and purses to all military personnel and their dependents with a valid military ID. Items may be borrowed from the Cinderella Boutique up to 14 calendar days prior to an event, and must be returned, intact, unaltered and professionally dry-cleaned with cleaning tags attached, within 10 calendar days of the event. All patrons will be required to sign a contract agreeing to these terms of service. Regular hours of operation are scheduled for Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with hours subject to change without notice. The Cinderella Boutique Committee wishes to thank all those who have contributed to the success of this initiative. The committee continues to welcome donations of new or gently-used and clean items of women's special occasion wear. The shop is also seeking dependable individuals who wish to volunteer their time to help operate and maintain the Cinderella Boutique during its regular hours of operation.
