Article 15s for July 2012 Published Aug. 8, 2012 Base Legal Office MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- In July 2012, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: RANK, UNIT, PUNISHMENT, OFFENSE: 1. A staff sergeant from the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $400.00 pay per month for two months, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for one violation of Article 86, AWOL, and one violation for Article 107, false official Statement. 2. An airman from the 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 107, false official statement, and one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty. 3. An airman first class from the 5th SFS received a reduction in rank to airman, forfeiture of $835.00 pay for one month and a reprimand for one violation of Article 86, AWOL, and one violation of Article 121, Larceny. 4. A senior airman from the 91st Security Forces Group received a reduction in rank to airman first class, forfeiture of $990.00 pay for one month, suspended, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 111, Driving while Drunk. 5. A senior airman from the 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman, with reduction below airman first class suspended, forfeiture of $835.00 pay per month for two months, suspended, and 15 days extra duty for one violation of Article 86, AWOL, and one violation of Article 91, Disrespect of an NCO. 6. An airman first class from the 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic, with reduction below airman suspended, forfeiture of $745.00 pay per month for two months, suspended, and 30 days of extra duty for one violation of Article 86, AWOL, and one violation of Article 107, False official Statement. Along with nonjudicial punishment under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, members who commit misconduct are subject to other adverse actions. This includes Administrative Discharge Actions and Administrative Demotions. Additional misconduct may be met with more severe adverse actions, such as trial by court-martial
