In August 2012, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice:

1. A staff sergeant from the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $1,181.00 pay per month for 1 month, and 14 days of extra duty for one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty.

2. An airman first class from the 5th AMXS received a reduction in rank to airman, 30 days restriction to Minot Air Force Base, and 30 days of extra duty for one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty.

3. A senior airman from the 5th Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to airman first class, forfeiture of $447.00 pay for one month, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 107, False Official Statement.

4. An airman first class from the 5th SFS received a suspended reduction in rank to airman basic, forfeiture of $300.00 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty.

5. A senior airman from the 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman, with reduction below Airman First Class suspended, for one violation of Article 128, Assault.

6. A senior airman from the 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic and 15 days of extra duty for one violation of Article 112a, Wrongful use of Marijuana.

7. An airman first class from the 91st MSFS received a reduction in rank to airman, suspended forfeitures of $835.00 pay per month for 2 months, and 30 days of extra duty, suspended, for one violation of Article 113, Misbehavior of sentinel.

8. An airman first class from the 91st MSFS received a reduction in rank to airman, suspended forfeitures of $835.00 pay per month for 2 months, and 30 days of extra duty, suspended, for one violation of Article 113, Misbehavior of sentinel.

9. A master sergeant from the 705th Munitions Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to technical sergeant and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty.

Along with nonjudicial punishment under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, members who commit misconduct are subject to other adverse actions. This includes Administrative Discharge Actions and Administrative Demotions. Additional misconduct may be met with more severe adverse actions, such as trial by court-martial.
