The 5th Security Forces Squadron in conjunction with the Minot Police Department hosted the annual Mugs N' Hugs event in the JC Penney's court in the Dakota Square Mall, Oct. 13. The goal of this event was to help promote safety within the community - both on- and off-base. This event allowed Minot police agencies, as well as base security forces, to provide parents with identification kits along with safety tips in case anything were to happen to their child. The kit includes ink for the finger prints, medical information, DNA hair sample and other personal information that will help police agencies during an investigation. If anyone unable to attend the event would like a kit, they can contact Senior Airman Tom Vann at 723-3011.
